On April 15, the Parliament of Ukraine adopted in the second (and final) reading draft law \u211611044<\/a> about amending the martial law regulations over monitoring anti-bullying labor provisions by the labor inspectorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine’s anti-bullying legislation came into effect in 2022; however, wartime restrictions hindered labor inspectors from ensuring compliance. The Law on Ukraine \u201cOn Organization of Labor Relations during Wartime\u201d (Art.16) outlines a comprehensive list of reasons for conducting labor inspections: termination of employment contracts, informal employment, and adherence to this wartime law’s requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite numerous applications to the State Labor Service (Labor Inspectorate) regarding workplace bullying, such a list did not enable labor inspectors to initiate labor inspections in these cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proposed legislation seeks to modify Article 16 of the wartime labor law, allowing for labor inspections in cases of workplace bullying.
