An internally displaced woman who worked at a company engaged in fuel trade turned to the legal clinic of a civil society organization for assistance. After deciding to resign, she did not receive her final payment \u2014 including her last month\u2019s salary and compensation for unused leave. The employer justified the non-payment by referring to martial law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a result, the worker sought legal support. The clinic\u2019s lawyers prepared an official request to the employer demanding that all due payments be made. They also drafted an appeal to the State Labour Service asking to initiate an inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
