New Union TV Episode on Post-Service Labor Guarantees

Continuing the topic of war veterans` labor rights, Labor Initiatives released a new Union TV episode (with English subtitles) about leave time war veterans are entitled to upon discharge from the military and return to civilian job positions. 

This question is timely as many veterans want and need rest and to spend time with families or undergo rehabilitation after military service instead of starting work immediately. However, the employer should formalize a worker`s absence via vacation/leave rules—knowledge of vacation options is important for war veterans. 

LI attorney Nadiia Yolkina outlines which types of leave (paid or unpaid) and of what duration are available to war veterans, what leaves are guaranteed by a state as an extra benefit for war veterans and persons with a war-related disability, and what the procedures are for obtaining the appropriate leave.
