Four Private Company Workers Receive Around UAH 160,000 in Unpaid Wages

Lawyers from the NGO Labor Initiatives helped defend the labour rights and interests of four private company workers.

The workers had repeatedly asked the employer to pay wage arrears for their last two months of work, but their requests were ignored.

The Legal Clinic’s lawyers prepared a formal demand to the employer for payment of the outstanding wages. They also prepared court claims in case pre-trial efforts failed to resolve the matter.

The employer agreed to settle the situation without court proceedings. The workers received the unpaid wages for their last two months of work in full, totalling around UAH 160,000.
