Illegally Dismissed Public Servant Reinstated and Awarded Compensation
Labor Initiatives’ lawyers secured UAH 56,000 in compensation for a public servant who had been illegally dismissed from her position.
Following her dismissal, the worker brought her case to court and was officially reinstated. Nonetheless, she encountered pressure from her employer, who tried to coerce her into resigning. She reached out to Labor Initiatives’ legal clinic, detailing continued violations of her labor rights.
Meanwhile, the employer filed an appeal against the first instance court ruling. Ultimately, the appellate court upheld the original decision in favor of the worker, confirming that her dismissal had been illegal.
