Legal Clinic Helps Single Mother Recover Delayed Wage Payments After Dismissal

LI lawyers assisted a female employee, a single mother, in seeking delayed wage payments and compensation for unused leave following her dismissal.

According to the worker, despite her personal appeals to the employer, her requests were ignored.

Labour Initiatives lawyers prepared an official appeal citing relevant legal norms and demanding payment of all delayed wages and compensation owed to the employee.

As a result, the worker’s rights were restored. She received her full salary as well as approximately UAH 55,000 (about $1,300) in payments.
