On November 20, Labor Initiatives lawyers Alina Antonenko, Kateryna Shvets, and Nadiia Yolkina were invited to conduct a legal workshop about preventing and combating bullying (mobbing) at the workplace for over 40 elected union leaders and lawyers working in local chapters of the Trade Union of Workers of Metallurgical and Mining Industries of Ukraine.

In a presentation, LI experts highlighted legislative provisions on bullying prevention and provided best practices for counteracting forms of physical/psychological abuse useful in guaranteeing bullying-free workplaces. Currently, there are no successful anti-bullying court cases because of the complexity of evidence collection. LI experts gave particular attention to legal strategies for workers` rights protection, as bullying is mostly connected with other labor rights violations, which are easier to prove.
