Collective Bargaining: Educating Youth Nuclear Workers

On May 15–16, 2025, Labor Initiatives attorneys George Sandul and Inna Kudinska held two sessions on collective bargaining as part of the Spring School for the young activists of the Nuclear Energy and Industry Workers’ Union of Ukraine (Atomprofspilka).

LI experts provided an overview of the current legislation regarding collective agreements and the new law that will take effect six months after the cancellation of martial law. Furthermore, LI attorneys presented a comprehensive analysis of the collective bargaining agreements in the nuclear energy sector at both the sectoral and company levels.

Special focus was given to team building and the preparatory phases before collective bargaining.
