On February 21, 2026, LI lawyers Alina Antomenko and Kateryna Shvets were invited to speak before the audience of 25 Atomprospilk internally displaced union leaders who gathered in Lviv under the support of the Swedish Union to Union, which has been implementing the project in Ukraine.

Atomprofspilka is committed to supporting and educating internally displaced union members, including those who were previously employed at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and associated nuclear facilities now under Russian occupation. The union aims to ensure union leaders remain informed and connected during these challenging times.

LI attorneys attended online and held a two-hour training session focused on proposed legislative changes, such as the draft Labor Code, draft law “On fair wage system,” and others adopted during martial law in Ukraine.

Concerns about recent labor law legislative initiatives are currently being widely discussed within trade unions. Atomprofspilka is actively utilizing LI expertise to prepare for any potential changes. More importantly, they are focusing on how to oppose negative amendments and protect the positive clauses in their collective bargaining agreement.
