On October 9-11, Labor Initiatives lawyers Inna Kudinska and Nadiia Yolkina joined SC Ukraine Country Program Director Tristan Masat at the 3rd International Lawyers Assisting Workers Network (ILAW) Conference in Casablanca, Morocco. The ILAW Network was established in 2018 and now encompasses more than 1,300 members in over 90 countries.

More than 200 labor law scholars, practitioners, and union leaders gathered to share experiences in current labor trends and develop strategies to help workers and their unions solve issues and achieve better working conditions through legal instruments.

The panel sessions touched upon various topics, including technology and the workplace, the right to just transition, supply chain accountability, the right to strike, and the role of lawyers in union growth.

Moreover, LI lawyers contributed to other sessions of the three-day conference, particularly in the regional context. LI experts gave their vision on possible directions for regional cooperation and shared ideas on legal strategies.
