The NGO “Labor Initiatives” proudly presents a new practical guide, “Labor Rights and Guarantees for War Veterans”, designed to support Ukraine’s defenders in reintegrating into civilian life and work.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, many workers have left their jobs to defend the country in the military. According to Ukrainian legislation, their positions and jobs are legally protected, allowing them to return to work after completing military service. However, common questions are about the effective exercise of these rights and access to the social guarantees provided by law.

This publication, developed by Labor Initiatives legal experts, aims to help war veterans and workers’ representatives better navigate labor legislation and safeguard the rights of demobilized workers transitioning back to civilian life.

What issues can you find in the publication:

  • Clear explanations of key labor laws for war veterans.
  • Details about the social and labor guarantees under national legislation.
  • Practical tips for resolving potential labor disputes.

This guide will be useful for war veterans, their families, unions, labor experts, and anyone who supports Ukraine’s defenders.

Use this essential resource and share it with those who need it most!
