Professional Insights on Ukraine’s Labor Law Trends

On November 14, LI attorneys Alina Antonenko and Kateryna Shvets contributed submissions and presented at the All-Ukrainian interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference “Labor and social rights: European integration, martial law, post-war recovery” organized by the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

New reports by professors from major Ukrainian law schools, representatives of the Supreme Court, young researchers, and practitioners were presented and discussed online via Zoom.

Alina and Kateryna presented the peculiarities of enforcing court decisions during enterprise privatization, highlighting a recent successful case by the LI legal clinic. This involved enforcing court rulings to recover overdue wages for two unionists of the Odesa portside plant.
