Psychological side of workplace bullying

On April 11, Labor Initiatives conducted an offline event in Kyiv about the psychological side of workplace bullying led by a well-known psychologist Olga Semenova.
During the lecture Semenova explained the physiological and psychological underpinnings of reactions to bullying and elaborated on various types of bullying behavior (ignoring or excluding a worker, humiliation and ridicule, imposing unreasonable deadlines, spreading gossip or rumors, etc.).
The speaker touched on the methods of avoiding bullying if a person is an employee and fleshed out a set of preventive instruments necessary for an employer to create a healthy and friendly atmosphere among the workers.
