On January 15, Labor Initiatives attorneys held an online session for twenty-two Nova Poshta Union regional leaders to discuss the labor regulations during martial law and explore their impact on collective bargaining at the company level and workers’ guarantee observance.

More thematic legal online trainings, facilitated by LI, covering Nova Poshta unionists across Ukraine are planned for the coming months.

*Note. In January 2024, Nova Poshta Union signed a revised version of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The union managed to preserve all the positive clauses achieved in pre-war times. Moreover, among other provisions, after intense negotiations, the Union agreed with the company that upon the termination of an employment contract by the employer`s initiative, the worker with 3 or more years of service would be entitled to supplementary severance pay.
