Training Professional Negotiators

On October 1, Solidarity Center and Labor Initiatives supported a two-day negotiation training for the Nuclear Energy and Industry Workers’ Union of Ukraine (Atomprofspilka).

The union is currently negotiating with management, and help from SC/LI and well-known Ukrainian trainer Vasil Komissarov is essential to reaching the new pro-worker version of the collective bargaining agreement.

The workers of nuclear power plants and other energy facilities are considered critical for the economy, and their upcoming collective bargaining process will impact the well-being of 50,000 union members and the functioning of the whole energy system in Ukraine.
