Womens’ Discrimination in Ukraine

On July 17, LI attorneys Nadiia Yolkina and Kateryna Shvets took part in a special project of Hromadske Radio – an hour-long Youtube interview with experts on topics related to discrimination against women, particularly on the labor market in Ukraine.  

Nadiia and Kateryna stressed the importance of raise-awareness campaigns for women and the legislative framework applicable in case of discrimination in the workplace. 

“Discrimination should not be tolerated, or kept in silence. Every case should be considered and reacted to. The more cases that are reported, the fewer stereotypes and prejudices we will face in society”, said Kateryna Shvets.
