Workshop on War-Related Trauma

On June 29, Labor Initiatives conducted one more online event in a series of workshops with a well-known psychologist Olga Semenova.  

During the training, streamed on LI`s social media and watched by more than 40 persons, Olga Semenova explained how to communicate with colleagues who served in the army and now are war veterans, IDPs who fled from the war-affected settlements, who lost their loved ones during the war, people with the posttraumatic stress disorder, etc. The psychologist highlighted a number of unwelcome questions for such people and comments that could hurt. 

78% of Ukrainians have close relatives or friends who were wounded or killed due to the full-scale Russian invasion, according to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) released on June 29. On average, the survey respondents have seven family members or friends who fell victim to Russia’s war since Feb. 24, 2022.
