New Rules for Suspending Collective Agreements During Wartime — New Union TV Video

Union TV has released a new video explaining the updated procedure for suspending collective agreements during martial law. The President has signed Law No. 13388, which significantly restricts employers’ ability to suspend collective agreement provisions unilaterally.

Previously, employers often misused this mechanism, suspending obligations without the consent of employees or trade unions. Under the new law, a collective agreement may be suspended only with the approval of all parties.

The video breaks down:

  • the key changes introduced by Law No. 13388;
  • what to do if your collective agreement has already been suspended;
  • the important role trade unions play in protecting workers’ rights under the updated rules.

These insights will be useful for workers, trade unions, and employers seeking to act in compliance with the new legal requirements.
