Effective Legal Dismissal and Severance Granted to Two Grocery Workers

Two grocery store workers sought help from Labor Initiatives (LI) after their employer attempted to pressure them into resigning due to store closure.

LI lawyers explained legal dismissal procedures and prepared a formal request demanding compliance with layoff regulations.

As a result, the workers were properly dismissed under Article 40 of the Labor Code and received UAH 25,000 in severance pay.
