Worker at Security Sector Enterprise Recovered UAH 90,000 in Unpaid Wages

In September, a worker at a major Ukrainian security enterprise received about UAH 90,000 in overdue wages after several months without payment and no response to his inquiries.

Seeking justice, he turned to LI’s legal clinic. The organization’s attorneys assisted him in drafting a complaint demanding payment of the unpaid wages. After submitting this complaint, the employer met his obligation and paid the full amount owed.

This enterprise has been a long-time leader in wage arrears; many of its workers have applied to the LI legal clinic to get their wages back.
