Labor Rights and Guarantees for People with Disabilities Caused by the War — New Video on Union TV

A new Union TV video explores labor rights and guarantees for people with disabilities caused by the war. Kateryna Shvets, a lawyer at Labor Initiatives NGO, explains in detail what rights employees with disabilities have during hiring, performing their work duties, and dismissal.

The video also covers guarantees that apply under martial law, including:

  • preferential working conditions;
  • the option of part-time work;
  • additional leave entitlements;
  • priority retention rights during staff reductions.

Viewers will learn how employers must organize work for employees with disabilities and what protections and benefits are ensured by Ukrainian legislation.
